Just finished today's run. (Ironic that the first time I typed that, I put "today's fun").
I ran 6k, and finished in 37 minutes. MUCH better than the last time I ran the 6k, and finished in 47 minutes! I ran it today at my 5k pace, which is just a bit more than 6 minutes per km.
UPDATE - 1 hour later
WHAT is happening to me? LOL I've been sneezing or wanting to sneeze since I got home, and my nose will not stop running/getting stuffed up. If this is what it's like to have allergies, man, that sucks! I googled it (of course) and it seems to be a somewhat common thing called "exercise induced rhinitis". I thought it was because it was pretty dry today, but a hot shower didn't help.

Finally, warm hands!
Note that my keyboard try is metal. Brr.
So today, I decided to do something about it. A mouse-mitt. I found a long sleeved sweater that I was getting rid of, and cut the sleeve off. I hemmed the cut end, lined it with some fleece, and slid my mouse inside it. I just stick my hand in the cuff end, and ta-da - warm hand.

Power-lunch
I went downstairs at 11:40 to have lunch. Red Fox said that he was going to have to go in to Ch-town for a few hours, which screwed up my plan of working til 3 and then going for a run. I decided to go for a run "now" instead of waiting. I ran the River Road (4k) in 25 mins, came home and made lunch, ate, and chose paint colours for the dining room all in an hour, and without adding any time to my work day!

Friends and Family
Little Fox and I went to Nova Scotia to visit friends, family and new babies.
Early Thursday morning, we left Foxfield. I didn't even get to Ktown before the car told me that it was low on washer fluid. Add one stop to the list. Just before we got to the bridge we came up to a pretty bad car accident. We were there before the emergency vehicles got there. So we waited and waited until they closed the highway. We had to turn around and take another way to the bridge. Add another hour to the trip. Finally we get to NS... but I got on the way to Greenwood. Add another hour to the trip. SEVEN hours later, we get to B and R's.
Oh.My.God. Their little baby girl, Piper was 10 days old and the sweetest little baby I've ever seen. I changed my first girl-diaper, and had lots of snuggles, as well as some good laughs with her mom and dad.
Then we went to Nan and Grampy Scott's. We had supper and went to bed. in the morning, Little Fox and Nan decorated a cake before we went out to play in the snow that fell the night before. It was a lot of snow! We slid down the hill on a cardboard box, and threw lots of snowballs for Molly to catch. When we came in, we had hot chocolate, and then Nan and little Fox put together a lego Mater.
When the road was finally plowed, we went to Granddad's. We all went to Byron's and had a Little Fox got to have a ride in his big John Deere tractor while Byron was plowing the driveway.
That night I went to the hockey game and pub with International Pat. In the morning, Little Fox and I went to A's to see her new baby, Payton. Another sweet baby girl that I can be honorary Auntie to!
After a quick lunch with Nan, we went to visit Aunt Ann/Uncle Ted's, where we also saw Aunt Rose. We left a little note for Grampy Kim, and another for Nana, and then we were on our way back to PEI.
Here's a picture of my 6k run this morning (you can see the ice on the trees!). My mom bought Saucony sneakers about a year ago and didn't like them, so I got another pair of running sneakers! They felt good on my run this morning... I just have to try not to curl my toes under.

Just went running. Did 6k for the first time! However, I was REALLY slow. I walked a lot. I have excuses, but they are just that: excuses. I'll just focus on the fact that I ran more than 5k!

SOLD!
Our NS house sold today!!
Red Fox is home from Ontario, and Little Fox and I are back from our visit to NS. Details and pics to come tomorrow. I know you're on the edge of your seat.
But YAY!! SOLD! We haven't signed papers and that stuff yet, but you know, 99% positive!
